Ravelsbach district

The Ravelsbach district was an administrative unit in the Weinviertel in Lower Austria that existed from 1854 to 1868 .

The district was subordinate to the district authority in Korneuburg and took care of their official business on site. In addition to Ravelsbach, responsibility extended to the former communities of Baiersdorf , Bösendürnbach , Burgfrieden , Diendorf , Dippersdorf , Oberdürnbach , Ebersbrunn , Eggendorf am Walde , Elsarn , Frauendorf , Gaindorf , Gettsdorf , Glaubendorf , Grafenberg , Grübern , Hohenwarth , Hollenstein , Kiblitz , Limberg , Maissau , Großmeiseldorf , Minichhofen , Mühlbach , Parisdorf , Pfaffstetten , Radlbrunn , Oberravelsbach , Klein-Reinprechtsdorf , Ronthal , Niederschleinz , Stoitzendorf , Straning , Straß , Wartberg , Großwetzdorf , Kleinwetzdorf , Wiedendorf , Wilhelmsdorf , Zemling and Ziersdorf . The administrative district of Ravelsbach was significantly larger than the later judicial district of Ravelsbach, including Grafenberg, Kleinreinprechtsdorf, Stoitzendorf and Wartberg (which would later belong to the judicial district of Eggenburg) as well as Straß, Elsarn, Diendorf am Walde and Wiedendorf (which later belonged to the judicial district of Langenlois) Ravelsbach district.
