Bösendürnbach is a village and cadastral municipality of the market community Hohenwarth-Mühlbach on Manhartsberg in Lower Austria with 77 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020).
geography
The place lies in a valley widening between the Manhartsberg and the Hohenwarther Platte and is traversed by the Dienbach, which flows into the Gscheinzbach just outside . Retzer Straße runs through the village .
history
The original name was Durrenbach , to which the addition bad was only added in the middle of the 15th century and refers either to the fact that the brook is small and insignificant or that it can swell dangerously in storms.
After the reforms of 1848/1849 , Bösendürnbach constituted itself as an independent municipality in 1850 and was assigned to the Ravelsbach district until 1868 .
