history
Glaubendorf is mentioned for the first time in a deed of donation from 1130. The name Glaubendorf is likely to be derived from the Old High German proper name Klöuwo . In the 12th and 13th centuries the noble family of the Chlubendorfer was among the followers of the Kuenringer , in the 14th century the Chlaubendorffers appear as a branch line of the Radlbrunners. In the 16th century, the Bavarian Gut zu Burgschleinitzer , the Neudeggers, the Imbach Abbey and the Pulgarn Abbey became the landlords. After the reforms of 1848/1849 Glaubendorf was constituted as an independent municipality in 1850 and was initially subordinate to the Ravelsbach district and from 1868 to the Hollabrunn district .
