Allentsteig district

The Allentsteig district is a former administrative unit in the Waldviertel in Lower Austria .

The district was subordinate to the district authority in Krems an der Donau and took care of their official business on site. In addition to Allentsteig, responsibility extended to the former communities of Altpölla , Bernschlag , Breitenfeld , Döllersheim , Echsenbach , Edelbach , Felsenberg , Franzen , Göpfritz an der Wild , Großhaselbach , Heinreichs , Kirchberg an der Wild , Merkenbrechts , Neupölla , Niederplöttbach , Großpoppen , Scheideldorf , Schlagles , Schwarzenau , Stögersbach , Thaua and Thaures .
