history
First mentioned in the founding deed of the Ravelsbach parish in 1110, the Lilienfeld Abbey , the Klosterneuburg Abbey and the Seefeld and Buchbergers later appear as owners of the manor. The Brandlhof was mentioned in 1209 as a Meierhof. However, there is also a line of Radlbrunn people who owned goods in the area, but had their residence in Radlbrunn. Radlbrunn was administered by Unterdürnbach Castle , at that time a parsonage of Lilienfeld Monastery, Ravelsbach and Grafenegg Castle .
After the reforms of 1848/1849 , Radlbrunn was established as an independent municipality in 1850, became a market town and was initially subordinated to the Ravelsbach district and from 1868 to the Hollabrunn district . In 1971 it merged to form the large community of Ziersdorf. The market coat of arms shows a fountain between two lions.
The former Governor of Lower Austria Erwin Pröll ( ÖVP ) was born in Radlbrunn . He still lives in Radlbrunn today.
