The district court of Donauwörth was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 2005 and was based in the Swabian city ​​of Donauwörth , from 1972 a branch of the district court of Nördlingen .

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court was established in Donauwörth.

Next Higher Instance had until April 1, 1932, the District Court of Neuburg an der Donau in the Higher Regional Court of Augsburg , then the district court Augsburg in the Higher Regional Court District of Munich .

In 1972 the Donauwörth District Court was incorporated into the Nördlingen District Court . As part of the administrative reform, the Donauwörth branch was closed on November 1, 2005 and integrated into the main branch in Nördlingen. The Donauwörth land surveying office moved into the building.

The court was housed in the Berger Vorstadt 16. It is a listed building (Az. D-7-79-131-129), angled two- or three-storey building with a bent hip and gable roof, built in 1927. It was later changed.
