Monheim District Court

The District Court of Monheim was a Bavarian court of ordinary jurisdiction that existed from 1879 to 1959 and was based in the Swabian town of Monheim .

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, a district court was established in Monheim, whose district consists of the communities of Ammerfeld , Blossenau , Burgmannshofen , Daiting , Emskeim , Ensfeld , Flotzheim , Fünfstetten , Gansheim , Gosheim , Graisbach , Gundelsheim , Hagau , Hochfeld , Huisheim , Itzing , Kölburg , Marxheim , Möhren , Monheim, Natterholz , Neuhausen , Nussbühl , Otting , Rehau , Ried , Rögling , Schweinspoint , Tagmersheim , Warching , Weilheim , Wemding , Wittesheim , Wolferstadt and Zwerchstraß from the previous district court of Monheim .

The next higher instance was the Eichstätt Regional Court until October 1, 1944 , and then the Augsburg Regional Court .

After the Monheim District Court was downgraded to a branch of the Donauwörth District Court towards the end of the Second World War and this measure was confirmed in 1956, this branch was abolished on July 1, 1959 by ordinance of the Bavarian State Minister of Justice .

The district court had its seat in Monheim Castle .
