The district court of Nienburg is one of ten district courts in the district of the district court of Verden .

The district court has its seat in Nienburg / Weser in Lower Saxony . Until November 2010 there was a branch in Hoya . The previous branch moved to the former district military replacement office in Nienburg on November 15, 2010 together with the main office previously located on Schloßplatz .

The district court of Nienburg is responsible for the northern part of the Nienburg / Weser district . The district court in Verden is subordinate to it. The competent higher regional court is the higher regional court of Celle .

history

After the revolution of 1848 was the Kingdom of Hanover , the jurisdiction of the administration separated and the patrimonial abolished. The district court was then founded with the ordinance of August 7, 1852 regarding the formation of the district courts and lower administrative authorities as a royal Hanover district court. It included the office of Nienburg and the city of Nienburg. The district court was subordinate to the higher court of Nienburg . In 1859 the Wölpe District Court was repealed and its judicial district was assigned to that of the Nienburg District Court.

With the annexation of Hanover by Prussia , it became a Prussian district court in the province of Hanover .

Since 2005, the district court of Walsrode has been exclusively responsible for keeping the commercial, cooperative and association registers in the district of Verden. The partnership register has been kept centrally at the Hanover District Court since August 1, 2005 . For insolvency proceedings is Amtsgericht Syke responsible.

In 2010 the Hoya branch was closed .
