history

After the revolution of 1848 was the Kingdom of Hanover , the jurisdiction of the administration separated and the patrimonial abolished. The district court was then founded with the ordinance of August 7, 1852 regarding the formation of the district courts and lower administrative authorities as a royal Hanover district court. It comprised the office of Osnabrück and the office of Schledehausen zu Osnabrück. The district court was subordinate to the higher court of Osnabrück . For the city of Osnabrück itself there was a separate district court of the city of Osnabrück , which was merged with the Osnabrück district court in 1859.

With the annexation of Hanover by Prussia , it became a Prussian district court in the province of Hanover .
