An Chol-hyok (born July 9, 1991 ) is a North Korean ice hockey player .

Career

An Chol-hyok represented North Korea in the junior division at the U20 World Championships in 2010 and 2011 in Division III. He was voted the best player on his team in 2011.

He made his debut as a 20-year-old at the 2014 World Cup in Division III for the North Korean national team . The team finished second behind Bulgaria and thus missed promotion. In 2015 , An took another attempt towards promotion with the North Koreans at the tournament in Izmir . This time he returned to Division II as the tournament winner after four years. As the best scorer among the defenders, Hong contributed significantly to this. At the World Championships in 2016 , when he was voted the best player on his team, in 2017 and 2018 , he played in Division II.

At club level, An plays for Taesongsan in the North Korean ice hockey league .
