Anaïs Caradeux (born June 30, 1990 in Aix-les-Bains ) is a French freestyle skier . She starts in the halfpipe discipline .

Career

In January 2006, Caradeux started the Freestyle Skiing World Cup in Les Contamines for the first time and took first place. In her second World Cup appearance in March 2006, she was sixth and won the Halfpipe World Cup at the end of the season. The following year she won the bronze medal at the Junior World Championships in Airolo . After finishing second at the New Zealand Freeski Open in Cardrona at the beginning of the 2008/09 season, she came third at the World Cup in Park City and fifth at the 2009 Freestyle Skiing World Championships in Inawashiro . She also won the Aspen / Snowmass Open and the World Cup in La Plagne . She came second at the US Freeskiing Open in Copper Mountain and third at the Winter Dew Tour in North Star . She finished the season in 14th place in the overall World Cup and in second place in the Halfpipe World Cup. At the beginning of the 2009/10 season, like last year, she finished second at the New Zealand Freeski Open. In the further course of the season she won the Aspen / Snowmass Open and won the bronze medal at the Winter X Games Europe 2010 in Tignes . The following season she finished fourth at the Winter X Games 2011 in Aspen and 12th at the 2011 Freestyle Skiing World Championships in Park City . In March 2011 she came second at the European Freeski Open in Laax and third at the World Cup in La Plagne. At the Winter X Games Europe 2011 she won the silver medal. In the 2011/12 season she came fourth at the Winter X Games 2012 and won the bronze medal at the Winter X Games Europe 2012 . After finishing second in the Pipe Open Series in Copper Mountain at the beginning of the 2012/13 season, she was eighth in the Winter X Games 2013 and won the SFR Tour in Tignes. In March 2013 she won the silver medal at the Freestyle Skiing World Championships 2013 in Voss and at the Winter X Games Europe 2013 . In the 2013/14 season she won the New Zealand Freeski Open in Cardrona and came third at the US Grand Prix in Park City and the SFR Tour in Tignes. She took sixth place at the 2014 Winter X Games and 12th place at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi . In December 2014, she finished third on the US Revolution Tour at Copper Mountain . At the Freestyle Skiing World Championships 2015 on Kreischberg , she came fourth. In the 2015/16 season she triumphed at the US Revolution Tour in Mammoth and came second at the Aspen Snowmass Freeski Open. In March 2017, she reached 23rd place at the Freestyle Skiing World Championships in Sierra Nevada .
