Anders Lund Hoyer (born September 4, 1983 in Odense ) is a Danish volleyball and beach volleyball player .
Career
Hoyer began his career as an indoor volleyball player in 1998 with DHG Odense . In 2003 he became champions with the Danish Association. In the same year he played as a beach volleyball player with Jakob Møller Sørensen at the Junior World Championship in Saint-Quay-Portrieux . A year later he finally decided to play in the sand.
From 2006 to 2012 Hoyer formed a duo with Bo Søderberg . At the European Championships in Hamburg in 2008, the Danes were defeated by the Germans Matysik / Uhmann in the second main round and finally had to admit defeat to the Swiss Heuscher / Heyer on the losing side . Then they came in two open tournaments in the top ten. At the 2009 World Cup , they came second in the first main round and lost there against the Estonians Kais / Vesik . They also became Danish champions in 2008 and 2009. The next World Cup tournament in Rome in 2011 only ended for Søderberg / Hoyer in the quarter-finals against Latvians Pļaviņš / Šmēdiņš .
