André Lysenstøen (born October 27, 1988 in Oslo ) is a Norwegian ice hockey goalkeeper who was last under contract with HeKi Heinola in Mestis , Finland until 2010 .

Career

Lysenstøen began his career in the youth teams of Manglerud Star Ishockey from his hometown. In 2004 he moved to Lillehammer IK for three years , where he was active in the U19 Juniors until 2006 and in the men's team in the 2006/07 season. In the summer of 2007 he left Lillehammer and was signed by the Stavanger Oilers .

In summer 2009 his contract expired and Lysenstøen decided to work in Finland with HeKi Heinola in the second-class Mestis . For the team he played a total of 17 games in the 2009/10 season . Subsequently, his contract was not extended and he has been without a contract since then.

International

André Lysenstøen played for Norway in various international tournaments . In the junior division, he took part in the U18 World Junior Championships in 2006 and the U20 Junior B World Championships in 2007 and 2008 . In 2008 he was also nominated for the Men's World Cup , where he played his first World Cup game, which was lost 5-1 to Slovakia.

A year later he again took part in the men's world championship and was used in three games, all of which ended in defeats. In both the 2010 World Cup , as well as the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver , he stood in a respective game between the posts.
