André Mücke (born January 27, 1983 in Bad Muskau , GDR ) is a former German ice hockey player who was active for many years with the Lausitzer Füchsen in the DEL2 .

Career

Mücke had his first professional appearance in the 1999/2000 season in a second division game for ES Weißwasser . In the following years he played first only in the junior or the second team, before starting the 2003-04 season firmly belonged to the squad of foxes, previously in the league had dismounted. Already in the first year Mücke managed to get promoted back to the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga with the Füchsen , where he went on the ice for the Lausitzer in the following four seasons .

For the 2008/09 season , the winger left Weißwasser and switched to league rivals REV Bremerhaven , for whom he completed 98 games in two years and scored 34 points.

In the summer of 2010, Mücke signed a contract with the Dresdner Eislöwen , which was extended for another year in July 2011. In 2014 he returned to his hometown club and was team captain there.

In the summer of 2018, Mücke ended his career due to a chronic hand injury.
