Andrea Tantaros

Andreana Kostantina Tantaros (born December 30, 1978 in Allentown , Pennsylvania , USA ) is an American Conservative television presenter for the Fox News Channel and author, as well as a former columnist, radio host and campaign manager for various Republican Party politicians .

Life

Tantaros grew up in Allentown, Pennsylvania , where she attended Parkland High School. Her parents own restaurants in the Lehigh Valley .

After attending high school, Tantaros studied at Lehigh University , where she graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and French. As early as 1999, she was an intern in the press office for Pat Buchanan's campaign for president. This was followed by an internship at CNN telecast Crossfire .

From 2002 to 2005 Tantaros worked as a spokeswoman for the House Republican Conference (membership organization of all Republican MPs in the House of Representatives ) in Washington, DC She then worked in Westchester County of New York as Communication Director for the then District Attorney Jeanine Pirro , who was responsible for the Republican nomination ran for the New York Senate election in 2006. She was also Communication Director for Bill Weld's 2006 campaign for governor of New York. She also worked in the press office of Congressman Thomas M. On August 22, handed Tantaros through their lawyers before the New York Supreme Court in Manhattan a civil suit for sexual harassment and unlawful interference against Fox News, Ailes, officers Fox News employees Bill Shine , Dianne Brandi, Irena Briganti and Suzanne Scott with Claims for damages of at least $ 49 million. The lawsuit alleges, "Fox News masquerades as the defender of traditional family values, but behind the scenes it operates like a sex-driven, Playboy Mansion- like sect, steeped in intimidation, indecency and misogyny."
