Donikkl (* 1976 in Kelheim ; bourgeois Andreas Donauer ) is a German producer , musician , composer , copywriter and teacher . He became known nationwide with the title So a Schöne Tag (Fliegerlied) . He plays children and family concerts live.

Career

Donikkl produces new German children's music with a band in his own recording studio and plays “hands-on concerts”. His most successful title is So a Schöne Tag (Fliegerlied) , the lyrics and music of which he wrote back in 2002. He reached the single charts in 2008 and received several gold records and music awards. The song was covered in different languages. Donikkl was awarded the Multicultural Song Prize from WDR and Funkhaus Europa , the Bavarian State Prize for Music and the 2010 Culture Prize from the Kelheim district. His music spans genres, the focus is on making children strong.

Donikkl is a lecturer in “Music and Movement” at the Alteglofsheim Castle Music Academy and is entitled “Ambassador of Lower Bavaria”. From 2012–2016 he was also the official children's climate ambassador on behalf of the Bavarian Environment Ministry and with the Musik-Theater Energie! seen in kindergartens, elementary schools and events related to the topic of energy. In 2015 he was awarded the Bavarian State Medal for special services to the environment .

Under his label Donikkl-Productions he produces music albums, music radio plays like "Donikkls kleine Monster", textiles, books, video clips and commissioned works. In 2012 the label received the " Eyes & Ears Award " (production of the TOGGO song by Super RTL ).

Donikkl and his band became known to a wider public in 2008 with the song So a Schöne Tag (Fliegerlied) , which became a hit in marquees at many folk festivals , such as the Gäubodenvolksfest or the Rosenheim autumn festival . The song was also referred to as a Oktoberfest hit at the Munich Oktoberfest in 2008 .

The piece was covered by Sandra Stumptner , among others, under the artist name Antonia from Tyrol , but musically changed a little. The young people from Zillertal had a chart hit in Germany and Austria in October 2008. At the beginning of 2009, Tim Toupet turned it into a carnival hit, which made it into the German top 10 and was also listed in Switzerland. As a result, Donikkl also hit the charts in Austria. So a Schöne Tag (Fliegerlied) was translated into many languages ​​in 2008 and 2009 to become the mostly covered music title with over 50 versions. The song achieved gold status in Austria in 2010 thanks to the young Zillertaler. In December 2012, a winter version was published under the title Ski Fliegerlied .
