Andreas Frömberg
Andreas Frömberg (born July 11, 1954 in Syke ; † February 25, 2018 there ) was a German sculptor . He lived and worked in Syke- Schnepke ( Diepholz district , Lower Saxony ). He worked as a sculptor in his hometown and nationally. His preferred material was bronze .
Life
In 1977 Frömberg began studying sculpture at the University of Art and Music (HKM) in Bremen . From 1984 to 1985 he was the artistic director of a sculptor's workshop in the Oslebshausen correctional facility in Bremen . In 1984 a city studio was founded in Bremen and since 1986 he has had his studio in Syke-Schnepke. Since 1985 he has participated in sculpture symposia . His works are in private and public ownership. In Syke there are a number of his sculptures in public space.
From 1980 to 1999 Frömberg had 17 exhibitions in Darmstadt , Bremen, Osnabrück , Oldenburg , Bonn , Kassel , Hamburg , Berlin , Heilbronn , Karlsruhe , Düsseldorf , Hohenberg an der Eger and in Syke.

- 1999 Culture Prize of the district of Diepholz for sculpture

- 1987 Standing figure in front of relief bodies (in the art project Menschenlandschaft Berlin , in Berlin-Kreuzberg between Oberbaumstrasse and May-Ayim-Ufer)
- 1994/95 Guardian (sculpture; 1994) and city life (relief body; 1995), in Syke (main street)
- 1997 Mayor Lienhop and his dog. (in Bassum in front of the Kreissparkasse)
- 2000 figure and panel relief (sculpture) in Twistringen at St. Anna's Church; These two related objects refer to the more than 200-year-old straw processing in the parish of Twistringen, which is unique in this form in northern Germany
- 2003 The Guardian (in Bassum in the Freudenburg Park)
