Andreas Ludwig (artist)
Andreas Ludwig (born October 15, 1964 in Helmstedt ; † March 16, 2008 in Hanover ) was a German artist .
Life
After completing vocational training as a bank clerk, he made up his Abitur on a second educational path at the Wolfsburg College. In 1986 he began to study architecture. In 1987 he switched to fine arts at the Hanover University of Applied Sciences in the field of fine arts and painting with Ulrich Baehr . In 1992 Ludwig spent a guest semester at the ACADEMIA MINERVA in Groningen , Netherlands , where he studied painting with Johann van Oord and Tom Mars . Ludwig received a diploma as a visual artist in 1993. He continued his studies at the Hanover University of Applied Sciences as a master class student with Verena Vernunft until 1994. In 1995 he received a grant from the district of Gifhorn in the Künstlerhaus Meinersen . Since 1996 he has been working as a freelance artist in Hanover. In 2008 Andreas Ludwig died in Hanover.
