Andreas Rojewski or Polish Andrzej Rojewski (born August 20, 1985 in Wejherowo , Poland ) is a Polish and former German handball player . His playing position is the right side of the back , but he can also be used on the right wing .

Career

society

Rojewski began his career at VfL Fredenbeck and from 2001 played for SC Magdeburg . First he played for two years with the Youngsters and since 2003 in the first team in the handball Bundesliga . With the SCM he won the EHF Cup in 2007 and the DHB Cup in 2016 .

From 2016 to 2019 he played for the SC DHfK Leipzig . In his first season he was the Leipzig team's top scorer with 114 goals, including 27 seven meters.

National team

After suffering two cruciate ligament ruptures in quick succession in 2006 and 2007 , he made his debut in the German national team against Bulgaria in 2008 . Here he was also able to achieve his first two international goals. In October 2014 he announced that he would play for the Polish national team in the future and made his debut in the Polish national team against Germany in 2015 .
