Andrei Valeryevich Posnow ( Russian Андрей Валерьевич Поснов ; born November 19, 1981 in Vorkuta , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who was last under contract with Yuzhny Ural Orsk in the Vysschaja Hockey League .
Career
Andrei Posnow began his career as a hockey player in the youth department of HK Spartak Moscow , for whose second team he was active in the third-class Pervaya League in the 1998/99 season . Then the winger moved to the youth department of the city neighbor Krylja Sowetow Moscow , where he was initially also used in the second team in the Pervaya League. In the 2000/01 season he made his debut for Krylya Sowetov's professional team in the Vysschaya League , the second Russian division, and rose with his team straight away in the Super League . In this he scored 17 points scorer in 49 games in his rookie year , the 2001/02 season , including twelve goals.
For the 2002/03 season Posnow returned to HK Spartak Moscow, but then had to accept relegation to the Wysschaja Liga with his team. In the following season he succeeded with his team the direct return to the Superliga, but he joined the Superliga participant Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk . Towards the end of the 2005/06 season , the Russian moved within the top Russian league to SKA Saint Petersburg . From 2007 to 2009 he played for HK Sibir Novosibirsk - first in the Super League and in the 2008/09 season in the newly founded Continental Hockey League .
The 2009/10 season spent Posnow at Atlant Mytishchi . For the following season he was committed by his KHL league rival Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod , before moving to Vitjas Chekhov in the summer of 2011 .
