Club career

The 176 cm tall and 75 kg striker played after engagements in Grosseto , Bellaria, Ferrara and Padua from September 2006 for the US Sassuolo Calcio club, which was then in the Italian third division , and promoted Selva in the 2007/08 season in the series B succeeded. National team

Selva made his debut on October 10, 1998 in the 5-0 loss to Israel and completed 74 caps for San Marino , in which he scored eight goals. Selva scored his first international goal on October 14, 1998 with a penalty kick in a qualifying match against Austria , which San Marino lost 4-1. In the only victory of his country's national team to date (in a friendly against Liechtenstein on April 28, 2004 ), he scored the goal of the day to make it 1-0 after six minutes. In 2016 the long-time team captain ended his career in the national team.
