Angelo Scalzone (born January 2, 1931 in Casal di Principe , † April 29, 1987 in Villejuif ) was an Italian sports shooter .
successes
Angelo Scalzone was world champion with the team in Bologna in 1967 . He took part in the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich in a trap . At the end of the first day he was already leading the field with 100 points after hitting all the goals in the first four rounds. On the second day, he only missed one target and thus scored a total of 199 hits, which was a new world record. Scalzone was the first to become Olympic champion and received the gold medal.
