David Kostelecký (2008)

David Kostelecký (born May 12, 1975 in Brno ) is a Czech sports shooter in the trap discipline .

David Kostelecký reached the final battle in the trap competition at the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000 and finished sixth there. At the 2006 European Championships in Maribor Kostelecký was fifth. He finished the World Cup in Suhl in second and the World Cup in Cairo in third. At the World Cup final in Granada , the Czech came second. The 2007 World Cup in Nicosia was mediocre , Kostelecký was 17th. Things went much better for the shooter from Holasice at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing , where he won the gold medal with 146 hits.
