Anita La Selva

Anita La Selva (* in Toronto , Ontario ) is a Canadian actress and dancer .

Life and education

La Selva was born in Toronto but grew up in Stratford , Ontario , where her parents worked as theatrical costume designers for the Stratford Shakespearean Festival . Through the work of her parents, La Selva came into contact with the theater at an early age. As a teenager she attended numerous theater performances and worked on various productions. During her school years she participated in a theater - workshop of the Canadian playwright James Reaney part and played in the piece King Whistle .

She completed her studies in English and Drama / Acting at the University of Toronto , which she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature and Theater Studies .

At the same time she took acting classes in method acting with Samantha Langevin and Miriam Laurence, alumni of Lee Strasberg . From 1988 to 1990 she studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art .

Career
