Countess Anna Magdalene von Hanau-Lichtenberg (* December 14, 1600 in Buchsweiler (today: Bouxwiller), † February 22, 1673 ) was a daughter of Count Johann Reinhard I of Hanau-Lichtenberg (* 1569; † 1625) and the countess Maria Elisabeth von Hohenlohe-Neuenstein (* 1576; † 1605).

  1. on November 27, 1625 Lothar von Criechingen († 1629), son of Christoph von Criechingen-Pittingen, bailiff of German Lorraine († 1622/1623) and Anna Bayer von Boppard . From the marriage of Lothar and Anna Magdalene a son emerged:
    1. Count Franz Ernst III. († 1677);
  2. in August 1633 Rhine and wild count Otto Ludwig von Salm-Kyrburg-Mörchingen (born October 13, 1597, † October 16, 1634 in Speyer an der Pest , buried in Strasbourg Cathedral ) Swedish general and governor in Alsace . From this marriage there was also a son who was born posthumously :
