Anna Evgenjewna Stojan ( Russian Анна Евгеньевна Стоян ; English Anna Stoyan ; born February 18, 1993 in Leninogorsk , Eastern Kazakhstan Oblast ) is a Kazakh cross-country skier .

Career

Stojan started internationally for the first time in January 2011 at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2011 in Otepää . There she finished 38th in the skiathlon and ninth place with the relay. The following year she won 33rd place in the sprint, 18th place over 5 km classic and eighth place with the relay at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2012 in Erzurum . At the beginning of the 2012/13 season she made her debut in Gällivare in the cross-country skiing world cup and came in 18th place with the relay. Her best results at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2013 in Liberec were 21st place over 5 km freestyle and 11th place with the relay. In February 2013 she finished 60th in the sprint, 21st in the team sprint and 15th place in the relay at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2013 in Fiemme Valley . At the beginning of the 2013/14 season she achieved 86th place at the Nordic Opening in Kuusamo and 15th place in the mixed team sprint and eighth place in the sprint at the 2013 Winter Universiade in Lago di Tesero . At the U23 World Championships in 2014 in Fiemme Valley, she achieved 27th place over 10 km classic and 22nd place in skiathlon. In January 2015 she won the silver medal with the relay at the 2015 Winter Universiade in Štrbské Pleso . In addition, she was seventh in the mixed team sprint and sixth over 5 km classic. In the following month she reached the U23 World Championships 2015 in Almaty, the 26th place in the skiathlon and the 12th place in the sprint and at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2015 in Falun, the 44th place in the 30 km mass start race, the 40th place in the sprint and the 12th place with the relay. In the World Cup she finished the World Cup Mini Tour 2015 in Ruka on the 55th place and the following year in Lillehammer on the 60th place. At the 2017 Winter Universiade in Almaty, she won the bronze medal in the sprint. Her best results at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2017 in Lahti were 45th place over 10 km classic, 14th place in the team sprint and 12th place with the relay.
