Annalisa Drew (born May 28, 1993 in Lawrence ) is an American freestyle skier . It starts in the disciplines halfpipe and slopestyle .

Career

Drew has been participating in competitions of the FIS and the AFP World Tour since 2010 . At the beginning of the 2010/11 season she achieved her first podium finishes on the USSA Revolution Tour in Copper Mountain with third place in the halfpipe and second place in slopestyle. This was followed by victories at the Nor-Am Cup in Killington and at the Pipe Open Series in Waterville Valley . In March 2011 she made her debut in La Plagne in the Freestyle Skiing World Cup , finishing ten and seventh in the halfpipe. After third place in the halfpipe at the beginning of the 2011/12 season in the USSA Revolution Tour in Copper Mountain , she won the Slopestyle in Truckee and came second in the halfpipe competition. This was followed by further victories at the Aspen / Snowmass Open, the USSA Revolution Tour on Mount Snow and the National Championships in Copper Mountain . She also finished second in slopestyle at the Pipe Open Series in Waterville Valley and at the end of the season finished fifth in the AFP World Tour overall standings. The following season she won the Pipe Open Series in Whistler and the Aspen / Snowmass Open in the halfpipe. At the Winter X Games 2013 in Aspen she came in sixth and at the Winter X Games Europe 2013 in Tignes in eighth place in the halfpipe. At the season highlight, the Freestyle Skiing World Championships 2013 in Oslo , she was ninth in the halfpipe competition. At the end of the season she achieved fourth place in the AFP World Tour overall ranking. At the beginning of the 2013/14 season she won the Pipe Open Series in Copper Mountain in the halfpipe. At the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi , she finished ninth in the halfpipe. After finishing second on the Winter Dew Tour in Breckenridge and a half-pipe victory on the USSA Revolution Tour in Copper Mountain, she finished sixth in the Winter X Games 2015 in Aspen . This was followed by victories in the halfpipe at the Aspen / Snowmass Open and at the AFP World Tour Finals in Whistler and thus achieved third place in the AFP World Tour halfpipe rating at the end of the season. At the Winter X Games 2016 in Aspen , she won the bronze medal in the halfpipe competition. After finishing ninth and fourth in World Cups in the 2015/16 season, she achieved her first podium finish in the World Cup in March 2016 with second place in Tignes. In the same month she was eighth at the X-Games Oslo 2016 and at the end of the season she finished fifth in the Halfpipe World Cup. In the 2016/17 season she finished in the top ten four times in the World Cup, including second place in the halfpipe in Copper Mountain and thus reached 18th place in the overall World Cup and third place in the halfpipe World Cup. At the Winter X Games 2017 she was sixth and at the Freestyle Skiing World Championships 2017 in Sierra Nevada fourth in the halfpipe competition. The following year she was eighth at the Winter X Games in Aspen and fourth at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang .
