Anne-Marie Duff
Anne-Marie Duff (born October 8, 1970 in London ) is an English actress .
Life
Anne-Marie Duff was born in the Hayes End district of West London. She attended Mellow Lane School, Hayes End, Hillingdon. She later studied acting at the Drama Center London .
Duff lives in Stroud Green, London. In October 2006 she married the actor James McAvoy . Since the early summer of 2010, both parents have had one son. In May 2016, the couple announced they were getting a divorce.
Awards
In 2000 Anne-Marie Duff was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award , but received it five years later for her role as Fiona in the British television series Shameless and for her portrayal of Elizabeth I of England in the lavish BBC mini-television series The Virgin Queen . In addition, she won the 2008 BAFTA Cymru Award in the "Best Actress" category.
