Anne Fleck

Anne Fleck (actually Anne Alice Beatrice Fleck ; * 1972 in Saarlouis ) is a German doctor and author .

Life

After graduating from the Saarlouiser Gymnasium am Stadtgarten , Anne Fleck studied human medicine at the University of Leipzig , Université Paris Descartes and University of L'Aquila , another training station was the Vienna General Hospital . After completing the medical state examination and training at the University of Vienna and Cambridge, she worked as a research assistant at the University of Leipzig in the field of internal medicine, specializing in cardiology , electrophysiology , gastroenterology , metabolic diseases, autoimmune diseases, rheumatology , tropical medicine , obesity medicine and emergency medicine . In July 2010 she did her doctorate at the University of Leipzig at the Institute for Occupational and Social Medicine with Steffi G. Riedel-Heller on the subject of psychopharmacological treatment practice for dementia patients - results of a longitudinal, population-representative study .

Since 2002 she has been training in nutritional medicine , naturopathy and medical acupuncture (DÄGfA). In 2006 and 2007 she passed the specialist examinations for internal medicine and rheumatology. During her medical career, she established and directed centers for preventive and nutritional medicine and obesity . The focus of her work and her method is to supplement classical medicine with individual medical, preventive and modern nutritional medicine approaches.

Fleck advocates health policy promotion of “ speaking medicine ” and medicine for a holistic approach to patients. Her medical commitment is disease prevention, health education and strategies to fight the obesity epidemic.

Fleck lives and works in Hamburg .

Media presence

Since 2009, Fleck has appeared as a health expert in print media and since 2013 in television programs on ARD , NDR ( Visite and Die Ernahrung-Docs ), MDR and ARTE . She can be seen as an expert on healthy eating in talk shows on television and lectured at events and readings on the subject of health and nutrition. In 2017 she initiated the lecture series "Doc Fleck live - the latest nutritional tips" across Germany .

In 2016, Anne Fleck was awarded the gold medal as a book author in the “Health” category in the literary competition at the Frankfurt Book Fair by the Gastronomische Akademie Deutschlands eV (GAD). In 2017, Anne Fleck was again honored as a book author in the “Health” category with the gold medal in the literary competition for the title The 50 healthiest 10-minute recipes at the Frankfurt Book Fair by the Gastronomische Akademie Deutschlands eV. In 2018 she received the silver medal in the GAD literary competition for the book Healthy Summer Kitchen and in 2019 also for the title SLIM! and healthy with the Doc Fleck method, also the silver medal, awarded by the Gastronomische Akademie Deutschlands eV at the Frankfurt Book Fair.
