Jörn Klasen
Jörn Klasen (* 1951 ) is a German doctor specializing in internal medicine , anthroposophic medicine and naturopathy .
biography
Klasen studied economics and sociology in 1970 and 1971 ; from 1972 to 1975 curative education . From 1975 to 1976 he worked as a group leader and home manager. He then took up a degree in human medicine , which he completed in 1982. During this time he lectured on curative education from 1980 to 1988. After completing his studies, he trained as an internist with a focus on gastroenterology and anthroposophic medicine at the DRK hospital in Hamburg-Rissen , the Herdecke community hospital and the Filder Clinic near Stuttgart . From 1988 to 1993 he was senior physician in the medical department at the DRK hospital in Hamburg-Rissen, and was acting chief physician for another two years . From 1995 to 2009 he was chief physician in charge of the internal medicine, anthroposophic medicine and palliative medicine department at the Asklepios West Clinic in Hamburg . In 2009 he switched to the center for individual holistic medicine as chief physician. Since October 2015 he has been working in private practice at the Medizinicum Stephansplatz, Hamburg. In 2012, together with Anne Fleck and Matthias Riedl , he conceived the television program Die Ernietet-Docs . There the possibilities of nutritional therapy are shown .

research
Among other things, Klasen conducted research in Moscow on the treatment of chronic hepatitis C and carried out studies on anthroposophic cancer therapy and pain therapy. From 1994 to 2005 he was involved in the “clinical study of the anthroposophical concept for the therapy of early chronic polyarthritis in comparison with conventional long-term therapy” by the BMBF .
