Anne Gee Byrd

Anne Gee Byrd (* 5. January 1938 as Anne Gee in Toledo , Ohio ) is an American actress .

Life

Byrd initially studied at the University of Toledo . After completing her bachelor's degree in 1958, she did her master's degree at the University of Michigan . In 1961 she married the actor David Byrd ; together they performed in repertory theaters across the United States until the late 1960s . After the birth of their daughter, the couple settled in Los Angeles .

Byrd appeared in guest roles in numerous successful television productions from the mid-1970s, including Our Little Farm , Remington Steele , Emergency Room , Monk and Law & Order: LA . Occasionally she also took on feature film roles, for example in Moving - Backwards into Chaos , 8mm - Eight Millimeters and The Big Trip - Wild .

Byrd, who by his own admission was never interested in fame, appeared again on the theater stages of Los Angeles after the death of her husband in 2001 and was nominated for numerous stage awards; she won the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award three times.
