Annie Cesar (born April 26, 1997 in Bad Krozingen ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player . In the hall she became German champion as Libera with Allianz MTV Stuttgart and reached the cup finals twice. She has been playing with the Ladies in Black Aachen since 2020 .

Career

Cesar started her career at TB Bad Krozingen. During this time Cesar played for VfR Umkirch in the Regionalliga for two years. In the 2015/16 and 2016/17 seasons she played as an outside attacker with the second team of Allianz MTV Stuttgart in the second Bundesliga south . She has been playing as Libera in the Bundesliga team since 2017. In the 2017/18 season she reached the semifinals of the DVV Cup with the team and was in the playoff final against Schweriner SC . In the following season she was also defeated in the cup final against Schwerin, but later became German champion 2019 against the same opponent . In the DVV-Pokal 2019/20 she was again in the final with Stuttgart, which was lost to Dresdner SC . When the Bundesliga ended the season , Stuttgart took second place in the table. In 2020, Libera switched to league rivals Ladies in Black Aachen .

In beach volleyball , Cesar played her first tournaments from 2010 with Svenja Hoffmann . From 2013 to 2016 she won the German U17 to U20 championships with Leonie Klinke . In 2017 she played a. a. with Karolin Reich . At the Techniker Beach Tour 2018 , she and Julika Hoffmann qualified for the main draw in Düsseldorf and Nuremberg and came in 13th.
