Mareike Hindriksen (born November 14, 1987 in Nordhorn ) is a German volleyball player . The setter was active for various clubs in the Bundesliga and in the Czech Republic. She became German and Czech champion. She has been playing for the ladies in Black Aachen since 2019 .

Career

Hindriksen comes from a sporty family. Her mother and sister also played volleyball and her father played soccer. She started her career at SCU Emlichheim . In 2007 she moved to Alemannia Aachen. With the club, she made it to the top division in the first season. In 2008/09 Aachen was second to last and in 2009/10 it was twelfth. In 2010 the player went to VfB 91 Suhl . With Suhl she reached the playoff semifinals of the Bundesliga and the final of the DVV Cup in the 2010/11 season . She then moved to VT Aurubis Hamburg . There she reached the playoff quarter-finals in the 2011/12 season as fifth in the Bundesliga . A year later , Hamburg reached the quarter-finals via the pre-playoffs. In addition, Hindriksen reached the semi-finals of the Challenge Cup with the club in the 2012/13 season .

Then she returned to Suhl for one season and reached VolleyStars Thuringia in addition to the playoff quarter-finals of the Bundesliga season again the DVV cup final . Hindriksen won the cup the following season with her new club Allianz MTV Stuttgart . In addition, she became German runner- up with Stuttgart . Then she was committed by Dresdner SC . With Dresden she succeeded - in the final against Stuttgart - the double of championship and cup victory . In addition, she came with Dresden in the first playoff round of the Champions League .

After these successes, Hindriksen moved abroad for the first time and played in the Czech league for VK Prostějov in 2016/17 . With the club she became Czech champion and reached the national cup final. In the CEV Cup she lost with Prostějov in the round of 16 against Stuttgart. She then returned to the German Bundesliga, where she was signed by USC Münster . In the 2017/18 season, the setter reached the quarter-finals of the Bundesliga playoffs and the DVV Cup with the club . The same results were achieved in the following season. In 2019 Hindriksen switched back to the Ladies in Black Aachen . In the 2019/20 season she reached the quarter-finals of the DVV Cup and the European Challenge Cup with Aachen . When the Bundesliga season was canceled shortly before the playoffs, the Ladies in Black were in seventh place in the table. Hindriksen will also play for Aachen in the 2020/21 season.
