Antônio de Moura Carvalho , called Tony , (born May 29, 1986 in São Paulo ) is a Brazilian football player . The right footer is mainly used in the offensive midfield .

Career

Tony began his career in 2007 and initially went through various lower-class clubs. The player came to Botafogo FR from Rio de Janeiro in 2009 through a loan deal from Boavista SC . With this he played his first game in the top Brazilian league on May 17 . In the game against Corinthians São Paulo he was substituted on after half-time. In the same season he also scored his first league goal. In the game against Sport Recife on May 30, 2009, he was substituted on after half-time. After a 0: 2 deficit, he scored the goal to 1: 2 in the 56th minute (2: 2). The lending lasted until mid-August 2011. Then Tony was at the Duque de Caxias FC in Série B awarded.

After Tony started for Boavista in the state championship of Rio de Janeiro in 2010 , he was loaned to the Ceará SC for the rest of the season in the A series. This scheme was repeated in the following years. After playing for Boavista in the Carioca, Tony was loaned to a Série A or B club. In early 2014, the player was awarded to the Esteghlal Tehran in Iran . For this he played eight league games, as well as his first appearance at international club level. In the AFC Champions League 2014 he competed against al-Shabab (Saudi Arabia) on February 25, 2014 . In the game he was substituted on in the 78th minute.

In 2015 his contract with Boavista ended. Tony came to the EC XV de Novembro (Piracicaba) to deal with this the Campeonato Paulista to dispute. Then he went to America Mineiro . For the championship round he was loaned to Figueirense FC . He returned to Ferroviária for the 2020 season.
