Anthony Geary (born May 29, 1947 in Coalville , Utah ) is an American actor .

Career

As a student in Utah, he drew attention to his talent. Jack Albertson discovered the young man and gave him his first role. Geary eventually went to the Huntington Hartford Theater in Los Angeles and starred in over 50 stage productions. He also played alongside Lynn Redgrave and Timothy Dalton as Octavius ​​Caesar in a production of Shakespeare's "Anthony and Cleopatra". He also starred in over 40 television series.

The actor was best known for his role in the US soap General Hospital , where he played the character of Luke Spencer from 1978 until he left. The character was initially a hit man and was only supposed to be on the show for a few weeks, but eventually she was accepted into the series and eventually became one of the most popular characters on General Hospital .
