Headless through the night (Original title: It Takes Two ) is an American comedy film from 1988 . In Germany the film was only released directly on VHS in 1990 .

action

The young Travis is about to marry his girlfriend Stephi. As a passionate car fan, Travis would also like to buy a replica of his dream car, a Lamborghini Countach . Shortly before the wedding, the young man makes his way to Dallas to fulfill this dream. Ultimately, he is ripped off by the saleswoman Jonni and the company. After Travis lost his money and at the same time had an affair with Jonni, he already sees his upcoming wedding as a failure. However, Jonni has compassion for the young man. So, together with her friend George, she hatches a plan against her boss. The three of them manage to get Travis' car. With his new vehicle, Travis manages to get home on time for his wedding.

The film service classified the film as a "reasonably entertaining comedy". One criticized in particular the "usual role stereotypes of women as a lascivious slut or as a cricket at the stove".

The German synchronization took place in 1990 by the Video + Sound Studios in Berlin. The dialogue book wrote Sabine Buschmann while Clemens Frohman , the director took over.
