Anthony Tu Shi-hua
Anthony Tu Shi-hua OFM ( Chinese 涂 世華 ; born November 22, 1919 in Mianyang , Hubei ; † January 4, 2017 in Beijing , People's Republic of China ) was a Chinese religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Puqi .
Life
Anthony Tu Shi-hua joined the Congregation of the Franciscan at and received in April 1944, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On July 19, 1959, he was appointed Bishop of Hanyang by the Chinese Catholic Patriotic Association . Anthony Tu Shi-hua received episcopal ordination on July 26th that year . In 2001 he was appointed bishop of Puqi. Pope Francis recognized the appointment on September 22, 2018.
