Antje Hamer

Antje Hamer (born January 19, 1982 in Leer , Ostfriesland ) is a German actress .

Life

Antje Hamer took part in school theater performances during her school days. After graduating from high school , which she passed in her hometown Leer, she got involved in several amateur theaters and with independent theater groups. At Theater Leer she played Antigone in Lysistrata in 2001 and Rebecca Nurse in Witch Hunt the following year . In 2003 she appeared at the Bonn Theater as Eve Rull in Der zerbrochne Krug .

From 2003 to 2008, Hamer studied at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn up to the preliminary examination in the subjects of business administration and economics with a focus on marketing . From 2006 to 2008 she trained as an actress for film and television at the “Film Acting School Cologne” in Cologne . During her studies she attended various acting workshops, among others with Niki Stein and Marco Kreuzpaintner .

From 2008, Hamer played several leading and supporting roles in short films and college graduation films . In the short film Hanna and I , Hamer played in the title role an amnesia patient who wakes up in the hospital and is accused of murder . The short film Sic Transit Gloria , in which Hamer embodied the deadly sin of envy , was screened in December 2009 at the “Grande Filiale” international film festival in Speyer and in July 2010 at the “Shqip Film Festival” in Pristina . In the short film A Boy's Mind , Hamer took on the lead role of Saskia in 2009. From 2009 Hamer played a role in the series Mystery - Internet series Twilight . From 2011 she was part of the main cast of the Pax Aeterna internet series . In the low-budget film Farmer's Breakfast (2011) by Michael Söth , she took on a guest role as a barmaid.

In 2011 she appeared in the ZDF -Telenovela Lena - Love of my Life in the role of reporter and journalist Vera Hansen. Hamer is also a promotional actress for various companies and has appeared in music videos.

From 2012 she worked as a freelance performer for various theaters, including productions at the Opernwerkstatt am Rhein and at the stage of cultures . Since 2019 she has been on stage under the direction of Anna Sophia Baumgart in the lead role of Phyllis in Woody Allend's comedy Central Park West , a. a. in the theater in the building tower in Cologne and in the small theater in Bonn.

Hamer also works as a speaker and reciter . In 2008 she took part in the “Long Cologne Theaternacht” in the recitation project “Poetischer Reigen” in the Theater im Hof. In 2011 she was part of the cast of the live radio play 20 Emotions in the Cologne Opera Workshop .

Since 2013 she has moderated the “Make children strong” campaign for the Federal Center for Health Education (BZgA) and is also on stage as a moderator for companies and galas.

Hamer lives in Cologne.
