Anton von Sallwürk

Anton von Sallwürk (born June 1, 1807 in Sigmaringen; † 1871 ) was the Prussian district president of the Hohenzollern region .

Life

Anton von Sallwürk studied law in Freiburg and Heidelberg. From 1830 to 1834 he worked as an actuary at the Turn- und Taxis Oberamt Ostrach . In 1834 he became assessor and secretary at the royal court and the government in Sigmaringen. In 1840 he was appointed court judge and at the same time he was a lecturer at the secret conference. In 1845 he moved as a board member to the newly formed department of the state government for schools. From 1848 to 1851 he was then the Prussian district president of the Hohenzollern Lands in Sigmaringen . From 1851 to 1852 he was the successor to his brother Carl von Sallwürk and headed the Oberamt Sigmaringen (1851-1852) as senior bailiff .

Anton von Sallwürk was married to Josepha geb. Schmalholz (*?; † March 24, 1882 in Bruchsal), they had at least one daughter Julie, later married to the prison director Eichrodt in Bruchsal.
