Adolf Frank von Fürstenwerth
Adolf Freiherr Frank von Fürstenwerth (born April 16, 1833 in Hechingen , † December 6, 1893 in Sigmaringen ) was a German administrative lawyer.
Life
Baron Frank came from a family of civil servants who had been raised to baron by Prince Hermann von Hohenzollern-Hechingen in 1806 . Until a reprimand from the royal Prussian heraldry in 1902, she was called von Frank ( Freiherr von Frank, Baron Frank ).
From 1852 Adolf von Frank studied law at the Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen and the Friedrichs-Universität Halle . He became a member of the Corps Suevia Tübingen (1852) and the Corps Marchia Halle (1854). After graduating, he served as a one-year volunteer in the Württemberg Army . In 1856 he began his civil service career as an auscultator . After the second state examination, he entered the administrative service of the Crown Prussia in 1862 . In 1862/63 he was a government assessor with the government in Frankfurt (Oder) , then with the Prussian parliamentary delegation in Frankfurt am Main . After serving in the district governments in Bromberg and Stettin , he returned to Hechingen in May 1868 as a senior bailiff. He thus succeeded his older brother Wilhelm . Frank represented the Sigmaringen constituency in the Prussian House of Representatives from 1869 to 1870 . Beginning of 1877, he came as a Government to Government in Wroclaw . A year later he was appointed presidential councilor to the senior presidium of the Prussian province of Schleswig-Holstein in Kiel , and in January 1881 he moved to the government in Schleswig as senior councilor and director of the interior department . With the powers of an upper president , he was appointed regional president of the Hohenzollern region on April 22, 1887 . In 1893, as a conservative candidate for the Reichstag in the constituency of Hohenzollern, he was defeated by the candidate of the Center Party . He died in office at the age of 60.
His brother Wilhelm Frank von Fürstenwerth († 1909) was a judge at the Prussian Higher Administrative Court .
