Antonio-Maria Casabianca

Antonio-Maria Casabianca , also Antonmaria Casablanca (born November 7, 1775 in Genoa , † May 4, 1848 ) was an Italian clergyman and bishop of Galtelli-Nuoro in Sardinia .

Life

His parents were Domenico Casabianca and Maria Bernabò, he came from the patriciate of the Republic of Genoa . He was ordained a priest on June 2, 1798 . After receiving his doctorate from the College of the Apostolic Protonotaries in Rome on March 8, 1818, as Doctor iuris utriusque , he entered the service of the Curia , probably thanks to the protection of his compatriot, Cardinal Secretary of State Luigi Lambruschini . He became secretary of the Congregation for Extraordinary Ecclesiastical Affairs, Prelate of the Cathedral Building of St. Peter and the Council Congregation .

On February 27, 1819 Antonio Maria Casabianca was appointed Bishop of Galtelli-Nuoro and on March 29 of that year präkonisiert . The episcopal ordination donated him on April 13, 1819, the Cardinal Bishop of Porto e Santa Rufina Giulio Maria della Somaglia ; Co-consecrators were the Archbishops of the Curia Giovanni Francesco Guerrieri and Candido Maria Frattini .

On January 29, 1828, he was removed from his office as bishop. He died in 1848.
