Antonio Taffi
Antonio Taffi (born December 11, 1897 in Farnese , Viterbo province , Italy , † January 6, 1970 ) was a Roman Catholic Archbishop and diplomat of the Holy See .
Life
Antonio Taffi received on 19 February 1921, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On May 14, 1947, Pope Pius XII appointed him . the Titular Archbishop of Sergiopolis and ordered him to apostolic nuncio in Cuba . The Apostolic Nuncio in Brazil , Benedetto Cardinal Aloisi Masella , donated him episcopal ordination on June 8 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Acquapendente , Giuseppe Pronti , and the Bishop of Orvieto , Francesco Pieri .
On January 9, 1950, Antonio Taffi became Apostolic Nuncio to Honduras and Nicaragua . In 1959 Taffi resigned as Apostolic Nuncio in Honduras and Nicaragua.
Antonio Taffi participated in all four sessions of the Second Vatican Council .
