Liberato Tosti
Liberato Tosti (born May 22, 1883 in Oriolo Romano , Viterbo Province , Italy , † October 20, 1950 in Rome ) was a Roman Catholic Archbishop and diplomat of the Holy See .
Life
Liberato Tosti received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Viterbo on April 18, 1908, through the Bishop of Viterbo, Antonio Maria Grasselli OFMConv .
On September 5, 1946, Pope Pius XII appointed him . the Titular Archbishop of Leucas and ordered him to apostolic nuncio in Paraguay . The Apostolic Nuncio in Argentina , Archbishop Giuseppe Fietta , donated him on November 3 of that year in Buenos Aires , the episcopal ordination ; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishops in Buenos Aires , Antonio Rocca and Tomás Juan Carlos Solari .
On October 4, 1948 Liberato Tosti was by Pius XII. appointed Apostolic Nuncio in Nicaragua and Honduras . In 1949 Liberato Tosti resigned as Apostolic Nuncio in Nicaragua and Honduras.
