The Apostolic Administration of the Caucasus ( Latin : Apostolica Administratio Caucasi Latinorum ) is a Roman Catholic Apostolic Administration based in Tbilisi , Georgia .

history

The administration was founded on December 30, 1993 with the decree Quo aptius from the diocese of Tiraspol . Originally it included the states of Georgia , Armenia and Azerbaijan .

On October 11, 2000, the administration lost the Azerbaijani territory in favor of the establishment of the Mission sui juris Baku . The local ordinary Giuseppe Pasotto has been CSS since it was founded .
