The Apostolic Vicariate Soddo ( Latin apostolicus Vicariatus Soddensis ) is in Ethiopia situated Roman Catholic Apostolic Vicariate with headquarters in Soddo .

history

Pope Pius XII founded the Apostolic Prefecture Hosanna with the Apostolic Constitution Quae utilia on February 13, 1940 from cessions of territory by the Apostolic Vicariate Gimma and the Apostolic Prefecture Neghelli .

On December 30, 1977, it took the name, Apostolic Prefecture Soddo-Hosanna. With the Apostolic Constitution Compertum habentes she was elevated to the Apostolic Vicariate on October 15, 1982 .

On January 20, 2010, the territory was divided into the Vicariate Apostolic Hosanna and Soddo.
