Arab Nations Cup
The Arab Nations Cup ( Arabic كأس الأمم العربية, DMG Kaʾs al-Umam al-ʿarabiyya , English : Arab Nations Cup or just Arab Cup ) is a football competition for national teams of the Arab world , which is organized by the Union of Arab Football Associations (UAFA) and has been held at irregular intervals since 1963 . The 1992 tournament was part of the Pan-Arab Games. In 2009 the competition was canceled during the qualification phase. During the long break from 1966 to 1985 was in his place the Palestinian Nations Cup is played, and is still unclear whether it was merely a continuation under another name.
