Araguaína , officially Município de Araguaína , is a city in the Brazilian state of Tocantins . With 180,470 inhabitants according to an estimate as of July 1, 2019, it is the second largest city in the state after the capital Palma .

Araguaína is 227 meters above sea level, the municipality has an extension of about 4000 km².
