The workers' house on the Torfbahn (popularly: Torfbahnhof ) is a listed building in the municipality of Ismaning ( Upper Bavaria ) at Torfbahn-Straße 3 (file number D-1-84-130-9).
The two-storey hipped roof building was built around 1815 as part of the castle economy east of the castle . In addition to the administrator's apartment, the building also housed rooms for the workers and a stable.
With the sale of the palace in 1899, the city of Munich took possession of the building. In the house in the immediate vicinity of which the terminal stop of the peat railway was located, she set up a residential building for the workers employed in the peat extraction at the municipal estate Karlshof .
The house is currently used as an event space for the municipal council.
