Gasthof zur Mühle (Ismaning)
The Gasthof zur Mühle is a traditional inn in Ismaning ( Upper Bavaria ), Kirchplatz 3. The listed building was built in its current form in 1894 (file number D-1-84-130-8). However, the core of the building is likely to date from the 17th century.
The inn is located in the center of the village on the western edge of the church square opposite the parish church of St. Johann Baptist . It was built by the sawmill owner Anton Seidl and his wife Katharina. After the sawmill fire in 1898, Seidl turned completely to gastronomy . The building is now in the third generation of the family.
The building is a stately, three-storey plastered building with a crooked roof typical of the Munich area . In the 1990s, the inn was transformed into a modern conference hotel.
