At Arc , the subtitled a compilation composition by Neil Young wears, there is a nearly 35-minute mix of song beginnings and, during the North American tour of tails Neil Young & Crazy Horse recorded the 1,991th You can hear a sound collage of noise, guitar feedback and snippets of vocals. In part, Arc was released together with the live album Weld recorded during the same tour as a special limited edition (3 CDs) under the title Arc-Weld .
As early as the 1980s, Neil Young experimented on a video with the cutting of song beginnings and ends. Inspired by Thurston Moore , who played in 1991 with his band Sonic Youth in the opening act for Young & Crazy Horse, Young produced with Arc another proof of his artistic independence and openness to new musical forms.
